Covid-19 protections at WFS screenings

Please wear a mask when interacting with our volunteers at the membership desk and the door to the cinema

Mask wearing will be strongly encouraged at all times

  • This includes when moving around in the foyer, Blondini's and the Candy Bar, as well as in the theatre
  • Mask use is the most effective way of reducing the spread of Covid-19 and other respiratory infections

Physical distancing within the cinema is encouraged

  • Increase the space between your bubble and others, especially around our accessible seating in Row F
  • WFS volunteers will not be enforcing distancing measures but we encourage members to spread out within the cinema and to be cognisant of the needs of our membership

Switch on Bluetooth tracing on the NZ Covid Tracer App

  • If you have the NZ Covid Tracer App, please ensure that Bluetooth tracing is switched on. If you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19 and reported it, you will receive an alert
  • You do not have to have the App open, or scan in using a QR code for the Bluetooth tracing to work - it will run in the background

The Wellington Film Society is proud to prioritise accessibility. We remain committed to taking actions which protect our patrons' health and wellbeing and foster a safe environment for everyone to enjoy films together.

If you have feedback on our COVID measures or general accessibility, then do not hesitate to get in touch with us
